701 Mount Alexander Road is an eight storey apartment building located in a very high profile position in Moonee Ponds.
This project was a very complex one involving all divisions of TFM. The building had extensive damage caused by poor drainage from balconies.
TFM were engaged to install new drainage points from balconies and connect to existing storm water pipes to ensure water is not running down the building.
Removal of tiling and screed from balconies, water proofing and apply levelling screed to ensure adequate fall to new drainage points and laying of new tiles.
The works also involved render repairs and painting to the front façade.
These works were required to be completed without accessing the units themselves and therefore required the use of various access methods including swing stage, scaffold, abseil, and material hoist.
